Three day/two night float trip. Put in at Priest Hole. Take out at Clarno. Kurt Grafius party of four. Early season trip with plenty of water, due to wet Winter. Excellent weather. Daily catches per rod 50+ fish. We had a number of fish in the 15" to 18" size. Very few people on the river.

We had a number of fish in the 15" to 18" size. A little cowded on the water so Joes bring the group back in 2005 for a four day trip, launching at our secret spot.

Four day/three night float trip. Put in at the our secret launch. Take out at Cottonwood Bridge. Mullins group of eight guests from California. Four anglers in rafts and four anglers in our sit-on-top 'Yahoo' hardshell kayaks. Many 15"-19" fish were caught on this trip. Here are some great pic's.

Bruce Holt and his wife (CEO/Loomis rods), Jerry Gibbs and his wife (Senior Fishing editor for Outdoor Life) and Jin Taylor/John Sousa. This was an excellent flyfishing trip for smallmouth bass fishing on the John Day River. Those Loomis fly rods got quite a work out. Check out these great pic's.
