COVID-19 expectations and practices on the River
There are inherent risks anytime you walk out the front door, and that is true now more than ever. We will do everything we can to minimize the risk of contracting COVID-19 on our trips, but that risk is never zero. Please keep this in mind if you are at high risk, and make decisions that are the best for you and your family.
Arrowhead staff will verbally screen all participants for signs, symptoms, and exposure to COVID-19. When you join an Arrowhead Adventure you agree to the following expectations for COVID risk management:
Practice social distancing and stay 6' away from anyone outside your group.
Wear a mask anytime you are within 6' of others outside your group.
Practice diligent handwashing and hygiene.
Notify us if you are sick, have tested positive for COVID-19 within the last 14 days, or may have had a recent exposure to COVID-19.

All staff and participants will wear masks while in vehicles, and spread out as much as is possible. Masks are not required while in rafts or kayaks. To avoid intermingling, rafts can be reserved for groups as small as two people for an additional fee.

While in camp we will maintain social distancing and wear masks when preparing or serving food. Tents will be organized by family or group, and single tents are available for an additional fee.
All camping and cooking equipment is thoroughly cleaned between trips.
Cancellations related to COVID-19
In the event that you need to cancel your reservation due to COVID-19, standard cancellation policies apply. Unfortunately we cannot make exceptions for cancellations caused by COVID-19, and we appreciate you using caution when you decide to join an Arrowhead Adventure.
In the event that you cancel your reservation at the last minute due to a positive COVID-19 test result or possible exposure, we will be happy to rebook your trip or issue credit toward a future trip.
